Update 8/16/2010 - Links to Contest Rules and Entry Form.

The Photo Contest theme this year is "What I Love about Lake Lure and the Hickory Nut Gorge." Twelve photos will be selected to appear in the 2011 Friends of the Mountains Branch Library calendar. A thirteenth 'Best of Show' winner may also be selected for the front cover of the calendar. Winners will receive a free copy of the calendar.

We are taking entries now and the deadline is September 15th, 2010.  Due to the overwhelming number of entries last year, entries are limited to three per contestant. Release forms and contest rules are available at the library and also on this website.  See LINKS above.

The Calendar committee would like to select seasonal photos appropriate to the months that they will represent.
