Personal Economic Assistance Resource Links (PEARL) | Print |

The State Library of North Carolina has put together a web site with links to state and federal resources to assist those who are struggling during these tough economic times.  The resources include information on job searching, health and wellness, veterans resources, help for family caregivers (both children and adult), and much more.

From the State Library web site:

The Personal Economic Aid Resource Links in North Carolina (PEARL NC) website was created for residents in need of government services related to personal finance, health and medical, nutrition, careers, transportation, and housing assistance. As our state, and indeed the nation, struggles with an economic crisis not seen since the Great Depression, services to support North Carolina's residents are especially crucial. Many of the services identified on this site are free or are provided at reduced cost to support individuals and families struggling to make ends meet.

You can visit the PEARL NC web site at http://statelibrary.ncdcr.gov/lss/pearl.html.
